Position Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our growing Finance team! This role will support the FP&A Manager and the overall FP&A function with a specific focus on operations procurement and logistics. You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze data develop budgets track performance and support strategic initiatives with meaningful insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Modeling & Analysis
Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Develop business cases uncover trends and generate actionable insights.
Serve as a trusted partner to business leaders by identifying performance opportunities and supporting decision-making.
Translate complex financial findings into clear accessible formats for non-financial stakeholders.
Reporting
Prepare and distribute routine and ad-hoc financial reporting packages.
Interpret financial results and highlight potential risks or opportunities.
Build dashboards and presentations to visualize financial and operational performance.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of data across reporting systems.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist with the creation implementation and management of annual budgets and long-term forecasts.
Partner with key stakeholders to improve forecasting accuracy and scenario planning.
Monitor variances from budget and forecast; provide meaningful explanations and propose solutions.
Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
Systems & Process Optimization
Support enhancements to financial planning systems (e.g. OneStream SAP Incorta).
Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in tools and workflows.
Assist in the adoption and training of new financial technologies or processes.
Expected Skills and Qualifications:
13 years of experience in financial analysis planning and reporting (preferably in operations or supply chain environments).
Experience with ERP EPM and BI tools (e.g. SAP OneStream Incorta Access MXP).
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messages to a variety of audiences.
Comfortable presenting complex ideas in clear concise formats.
Highly organized detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Self-motivated resourceful and comfortable taking initiative in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Exposure to global or enterprise-wide budgeting processes.
Background in logistics procurement or manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and influence change.
Travel:
The annual salary range for this position in the specified geographic location is $70000 - $75000. The actual salary will be based on factors such as location experience skills and qualifications. In addition to the base salary employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
