Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Events and Communications Coordinator who will manage and execute projects that will elevate a local non-profits outreach and engagement efforts. Reporting to the Chief Program Officer you will provide project management support for all events and communications activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Management: Work with all staff members to support the planning and execution of all sponsored programs and events. Coordinate arrangements maintain project timelines for multiple events varying inf size and scope. Track event budgets.
  • Community Engagement: Promote the use of in-house meeting spaces to local nonprofits and ensure all logistical needs including refreshments and technology setups are met in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Communications Project Coordination: Assist with the execution of the marketing and communications strategy by managing related projects and timelines and coordinating with marketing consultants. Serve as a liaison between internal teams and marketing consultant to ensure brand consistency is maintained across all platforms.
  • Digital & Print Media Management: Oversee updates to organizations website printed materials and communication collateral ensuring deadlines and approval cycles are met. approvals for digital content and printed materials maintaining a calendar for communications deliverables such as press releases and social media posts.
  • Administrative Support: Provide structured support to senior leadership through project trackers communication logs and routine correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project coordination or administration.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Experience in communications is beneficial but not essential.
  • Willingness to flex time occasionally to support an early evening event.
