48 hours per week.Working any 5 days in a 7 day period

Carlsberg Marstons Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marstons PLC we combine over 300 years of shared values history and heritage in UK brewing.
We are now recruiting for a Drivers Mate to join us. Reporting to the Transport Manager this role will be responsible for supporting our drivers to deliver our stock of lagers ales and craft beers accurately and safely from our Bedford depot to our customers ensuring that each delivery is completed with excellent customer service:
Key Accountabilities:
- Supporting the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading of stock.
- Supporting the driver with the most efficient traffic routes to help you both get to each location and back home as quickly and safely as possible.
- Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Prior experience working as a drivers mate drayman or within a warehouse desirable however not required.
- Customer service
- Manual handling experience and/or training desirable however full training will be provided during induction.
- Knowledge of local region.
