We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join the maintenance team at KRONOS.
You will report to the Chloride Maintenance Superintendent.
Required Education and Experience
Diploma in mechanical engineering technology industrial maintenance or equivalent;
Experience in project and personnel management in an industrial setting;
Five years of relevant experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry is an asset.

Proficiency with the following software:
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint etc.);
SAP MTS (Hana);
MS Project.
Roles and Responsibilities
Support the maintenance team with various tasks;
Plan organize and supervise maintenance and equipment refurbishment projects;
Prepare specifications and calls for tenders for the purchase of parts and services;
Manage inventory parts and source discontinued components;
Perform supplier inspections during external repairs;
Analyze technical and commercial bids;
Prepare purchase requisitions;
Supervise on-site work;
Conduct safety audits on work sites;
Identify cost reduction projects related to equipment reliability including ROI estimates;
Fill in for maintenance foremen when needed;
Train unionized employees on CMMS software;
Supervise work under your responsibility during plant shutdowns;
Demonstrate leadership in managing health safety and environmental aspects.
Schedule
Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
