As a Material Operations Intern youll dive into exciting projects focused on making our materials supply chain more efficient cost-effective and reliable. Youll get hands-on experience improving critical processes working with various teams and exploring innovative solutions that directly impact Formlabs operations and bottom line.
Internship Term: Fall 2025 (September 8 to December 19 2025)
Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Location: Onsite in Somerville MA (in-person)
The Job:
- Support initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs in materials operations
- Help manage inventory effectively by balancing availability and minimizing waste
- Collaborate closely with teams across R&D logistics and manufacturing
- Document and communicate your findings and recommendations clearly to company leadership
You:
- Have a background in Supply Chain Operations Engineering or a related technical field
- Have strong skills in project management task tracking and documentation
- Are proficient in Excel/Google Sheets including Pivot tables and PowerQuery
- Possess strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Experience with Python Tableau or SQL
- Previous experience in materials operations
