Pricing Eligibility Services (PES) Teams mission is to ensure Amazon Customers easily find great prices when shopping in our store and perceive Amazon as a great place to purchase with consistently good prices. Key job responsibilities
We are looking for talented Sr. SDEs who can deliver world-class solutions. You will solve ambiguous business problems and map them to well-designed technical solutions. You will design launch and re-architect multi-tier systems with large amounts of data. You will use object-oriented concepts algorithms and data structures to build systems at Amazon scale. You will quickly adapt to new environments and use creativity to solve difficult problems in a world-class engineering team.
- You will lead major transition in our Pricing applications to promote items with good price to customers.
- You will develop scalable tools for pricing optimization.

- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
