Job Description
Primarily responsible for reconciliation analysis reporting and compliance filing. Analyzes operations in order to ensure that all transactions are properly calculated and recorded in the general ledger.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Financial Analysis operates independently and leads in the preparation of various financial analyses to support the companys decision-making process.
2. Budgeting lead various components of the annual budgeting process.
3. Reporting complete assigned financial reporting to help demonstrate operational performance.
4. Month End operate independently to complete assigned portion of the month end close process including variance analysis and identifying needs of necessary journal entries.
5. Communication Work with other functions/departments to communicate results gather information and provide general support. Have designated responsibility for supporting specific lines of business.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Skills:
Experience using Microsoft Office programs especially Excel Word and Power Point.
Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills excellent oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead plan coordinate and organize multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Years of Experience: 3-5 years in healthcare finance or accounting setting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Masters Degree
Skills: Understanding of generally accepted and statutory accounting principles; working knowledge of Strata budget and decision support software; working knowledge of healthcare labor benchmarking.
Years of Experience: 5 years in healthcare finance or accounting setting
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands:. Office environment. Must have the ability to move between workstations. Ideal candidate will be well-versed in computer applications and operation
