Learning Together Educational Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The OT will provide support to children aged infant to 3 years old in their home/natural setting. In this role you will evaluate and treat children with a variety of sensory motor and developmental needs. The ideal candidate will have feeding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify sensory fine motor and functional skill deficits.
Develop individualized treatment goals and plans based on assessment findings and family input.
Provide hands-on play-based therapy sessions that address each childs unique developmental and sensory-processing needs.
Incorporate fun child-centered approaches to boost engagement and enhance progress.
Feeding Therapy: If experienced or interested support children with feeding challenges by addressing sensory and oral-motor skills.
Communicate with parents/caregivers regarding treatment goals progress and strategies to reinforce skills at home.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (speech physical therapy) for comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate timely documentation of evaluations treatment plans and progress notes.
Adhere to state and federal regulations as well as clinic policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current California OT license or eligibility for licensure.
Previous pediatric experience (clinical rotations internships or professional roles) is preferred.
Feeding therapy experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on family-centered care.
Ability to adapt and be creative in therapy sessions.
Eagerness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
