Learning Together Educational Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The OT will provide support to children aged infant to 3 years old in their home/natural setting. In this role you will evaluate and treat children with a variety of sensory motor and developmental needs. The ideal candidate will have feeding experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify sensory fine motor and functional skill deficits.
- Develop individualized treatment goals and plans based on assessment findings and family input.
- Provide hands-on play-based therapy sessions that address each childs unique developmental and sensory-processing needs.
- Incorporate fun child-centered approaches to boost engagement and enhance progress.
- Feeding Therapy: If experienced or interested support children with feeding challenges by addressing sensory and oral-motor skills.
- Communicate with parents/caregivers regarding treatment goals progress and strategies to reinforce skills at home.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (speech physical therapy) for comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate timely documentation of evaluations treatment plans and progress notes.
- Adhere to state and federal regulations as well as clinic policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current California OT license or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous pediatric experience (clinical rotations internships or professional roles) is preferred.
- Feeding therapy experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on family-centered care.
- Ability to adapt and be creative in therapy sessions.
- Eagerness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
