About the Opportunity
An IM/IT Manager reports to an IM/IT Director and oversees a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the design development testing implementation and maintenance of initiatives and programs throughout the province as the organization moves towards the rationalization of disparate systems and the OPOR strategy.
The IM/IT Manager will be committed to a high standard of performance and will provide support across the organization to leverage IT applications in support of NSHs and its clients strategic mission vision and goals. The IM/IT Manager performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to coordination of resources and stakeholders; managing timelines and milestones; documenting outcomes; and monitoring summarizing and communicating the progress of activities to the appropriate leadership team members. Additionally this management position ensures that all activities within their responsible area are supported by NSH IM/IT business plan established policies/procedures and in line with service level agreements between NSH IWK and the department of health. The IM/IT manager would also function in a senior subject matter expert role within the team.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field required. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience required
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years leadership experience with IT/IM Services programs and applications required
- Knowledge of pathology and lab in complex health environment is desirable
- IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Project Management Professions (PMO) and/or organizational change management certification an asset
- Experience supportingsystems and related services in a complex health care organizational environment considered an asset
- Strong analytical organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and security considerations is desirable
- Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to execute through effective delegation motivation and oversight
- Experience in data analytics
- Experience in incident response cyber security threats and trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technicalconcepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in working with patient care leaders

Hours
- Long-assignment Full-time Position; 75 Hours Biweekly
- Approximately 12 months (assignment length is subject to change)
- Hybrid work arrangement (work from home and on site)
Compensation and Benefits
$46.36 - $57.95 Hourly
