You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Senior Data Analyst is responsible for developing accurate and consistent methods of aggregating and reporting quality monitoring data. Provides support for the continuous quality improvement process which monitors clinical outcomes and resource management throughout the health care delivery system. Incorporates the philosophy and mission of ProMedica in all services provided. As an integral part of the core team continuously validates customer expectations by taking appropriate and timely actions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
*All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise*
1. Responsible for the routine data management/maintenance of Quality and Safety data systems. Develops coordinates implement data collection integrity verification reporting and analysis for various data systems. Continuously evaluates databases for effectiveness.
2. Develops monitors and executes reports that support process improvement benchmarking core measures physician credentialing clinical protocols risk management infection prevention and all other quality initiatives.
3. Collaborates with associates across the continuum of care to provide accurate reports of data in statistical and graphic displays which monitor and evaluate quality related activities.
4. Maintains confidentiality of all data records reports and incidental information collected in the quality and risk management process in accordance with department and hospital policies.
5. Maintains data extract programs and provides timely submittal of data.
6. Serves as administrator and ProMedica liaison for various applications and vendors related to healthcare quality analysis and reimbursement including but not limited to Midas (Core Measures) Press Ganey (patient satisfaction) Ohio Hospital Association Michigan Hospital Association National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) and any other applicable software applications under the Quality and Safety purview.
7. Develops monitors and evaluates the design and implementation of both clinical and nonclinical databases.
8. Keeps associates informed and up to date. Serves as liaison to external suppliers customers of databases.
9. Performs all other duties as requested.
**This position is remote ideally within 120 miles from Toledo OH. Onsite training will be offered and some in office meetings will be required.
Pay Range: $17.00 - $32.95
Education:Associate or Bachelor degree required or equal work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills: Computer database design capability and knowledge of ICD10 MS-DRGs and CPT coding. Coding and development in SQL. Reporting and data visualization using software (i.e. Tableau).
Certification:RHIA or RHIT

Physical Demands: Must be able to work under stress for limited periods of time. Must be able to travel to multiple locations. Significant sitting and standing to use computer telephone etc.
***Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries.
