Job Description
Alutiiq Operations Services LL (AOPS) has a dynamic opportunity for aChief Systems Engineer to be at the forefront of technology exploitation and development shaping groundbreaking advancements in remote sensing capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in managing and innovating the infrastructure that directly supports the Strategic Missile Warning Ground Acquisition Deltas Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) mission.
This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Be a key contributor to an exciting mission-critical initiative for national security.
- Work in an advanced collaborative environment leveraging state-of-the-art computing infrastructure at multiple data classification levels.
- Drive innovation and shape the future of Remote Sensing data applications through cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) data fusion and automation.
- Collaborate with talented stakeholders across diverse programs fostering a cohesive and innovative team culture.
- Oversee and guide all systems engineering efforts supporting the OPIR TAP Lab and BGIF.
- Define prioritize and execute technical requirements translating them into actionable and innovative solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive systems engineering trade studies to evaluate and recommend strategic technology investments.
- Coordinate and maintain an Integration Roadmap for tenants of BGIF optimizing activities investments and technological upgrades to achieve maximum efficiency and manage lifecycle costs effectively.
- Lead efforts in exploring emerging technology trends recommending strategic courses of action to ensure technological leadership and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Aminimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience with at least 5 years dedicated to software development testing and integration within DoD or national security environments.
- A masters degree in engineering Science Technology Management Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven leadership in technical project management systems engineering and stakeholder collaboration.
- ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance w/ SCI eligibility
Expected Pay Range:$130000 to $195000 per year
