Inviting Applications for the role of Principal Consultant Azure Senior Developer!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to handle large datasets from multiple sources ensuring seamless integration into the target environment.
Utilize various Microsoft Azure storage options including Azure SQL Database Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Blob Storage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data engineering needs including understanding Business rules/validations and converting them into code.
Extract transform and load (ETL) data from various sources into data lakes or database.
Experience on SFTP to move files across locations.
Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity throughout the data engineering process.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines data processing and data quality.
Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
Define/Understand Azure Infra and its access to end users
Develop and optimize SQL queries / Stored Procedures for data extraction transformation and analysis. Proficiency in SQL with expertise in complex joins subqueries functions etc.
Perform data migration to or from the Azure environment.
Experience with scripting languages like Python/Pyspark.
Knowledge of data visualization tool Power BI.
Providing technical guidance mentorship and support to a team of developers or engineers.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
software development experience with expertise in various Azure technologies database development and testing
Strong knowledge on Data Integration concepts
Expert in SQL queries sql tuning stored procedures
Good understanding of latest IT solutions
Should have design and architecture thinking
Should be able to mentor and lead a team support the team as and when needed
Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Core experience designing data solutions and their implementations
Adept at Azure technologies SQL Stored Procedures Python
