Neuro Interventional Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

St. Johns Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our esteemed team. As a Neuro Interventional Rad Tech you will play a critical role in providing advanced imaging support for neurointerventional procedures. - Exercises quality control for imaging procedures and maintains the prescribed standards of quality.
- Ensures the proper transfer of images online including correctd labeling of procedures.
- Assumes the role of an preceptor for technologists students and ancillary personnel on routine or specific procedures.
- Works as a member of the team providing assistance such as transport and cleaning of exam rooms between procedures
- Accurately documents procedure and charges for supplies.
- Accurately performs and documents hemodynamic monitoring.
- Performs interventional radiology procedures and neuro-interventional procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years experience as neuro-interventional radiologic technologist in an acute care hospital.
- Extensive knowledge of all department protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians and the patient population.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification required.
- ARRT certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and covered under the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
