Progressive mixed animal practice located in the beautiful finger lakes region of NY is looking for a motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our cohesive group of employees. We are a privately owned company who places an emphasis on job satisfaction professional growth and employee retention. One of our current LVTs will be moving out of the area for personal reasons and we are open to both new and experienced applicants. Primary responsibilities will be in the small animal clinic where we have 4 full-time veterinarians that serve as primary care doctors. Our LVTs rotate through working with appointments lab surgery and client communication responsibilities. We currently have no need for any work on the large animal side of the practice but there could be a future opportunity to expand that direction if someone were interested. We have a comprehensive compensation package that includes competitive wages health insurance disability insurance 401k CE stipend PTO and uniform stipends.

Midstate Veterinary Services was formed in 1998 with the merger of two long established veterinary clinics Animal Barn and Large Animal Clinic. We strive to provide high quality responsible animal care emphasizing preventive medicine and excellent customer service with 24 hour care for our clients.
Midstate Veterinary Services recently opened a new modern 6000 sq. ft. facility on Rte. 13 just south of Cortland. As a full service mixed animal practice we offer in-house care of companion animals and on farm care of large animals specializing in a variety of dairy and equine services. The staff with over 62 years of combined service and 10 DVMs are committed to providing personal attention to the individual concerns and needs of our patients and their owners.
