SUMMARY
The Nursing Unit Secretary performs clerical duties according to the job description that contributes to the operation of theunit. Time frame may be revised with mutual agreement of unit administrators specific specialty areas.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A. Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
1. Work requires a high school level of educational development.
2. No certification registration or licensure required.
3. Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problemsare relatively routine.
4. Work requires computer skills to include Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook. Ability to learn EPIC and othercomputer based systems.
5. Work requires the ability to understand and respond to simple written or verbal instructions. Incumbents must respond appropriately to instructions questions or requests for information. Work occasionally requires contactwith patients and/or visitors which involve courtesy.
Required Physical Mental and Visual Abilities
1. Work requires occasionally reaching and grasping objects.
2. Work requires regularly using a keyboard to interact with computer system.
3. Work may require long periods of sitting.
4. Work requires proofreading and/or reviewing documents.
Salary Range: Minimum16.16per hour - Maximum26.69per will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
