Pricing Specialist
Role Description
The Pricing Specialist is a key resource in providing pricing solutions to DeLavals customers across the globe. The Pricing Specialist works with setting global reference prices for products and services defining price logic and price structure for a given assortment together with product management & development as well as supporting markets in their operational pricing work such as pricing revisions running pricing related activities/projects but also providing general pricing trainings. It is a cross-functional role where collaboration with key stakeholders from different departments and seniority levels is required.
Key Responsibilities and deliverables
Plan support and execute the price revisions for selected markets.
Support markets with pricing and pricing software related questions.
Set and revise global reference prices develop price structures and price logics for new and existing products and solutions in collaboration with product management.
Communicate and support with implementation of price changes based on price analysis.
Lead pricing-related activities/projects including establishing timelines defining deliverables drafting communications and hold presentations.
Assist R&D efforts with pricing direction.
Your qualifications and skills
Bachelors degree in statistics math engineering economics or related analytical discipline
Relevant work experience within the fields of financial management controlling commercial operations or business analysis.
Work experience with pricing including defining pricing concepts and structures will represent a strong merit.
Understanding the impact of pricing on profit margins.
Analytical and exceptional attention to detail.
Practical experience analyzing data and ability to work with large volumes of data.
Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools such as MS Excel and/or PowerBI SAP BW and PowerPoint. Knowledge in PricePoint Access Excel PowerPivot SQL and VBA is considered a merit.
Self-starter and team player with the ability to work effectively under deadlines and deliverables with limited supervision.
Structured with the ability to manage multiple activities/projects concurrently.
Effective verbal and written communication skills including presenting complex concepts in straight-forward ways.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) Swedish is an advantage.
Location
The role is based at our Corporate HQ in Tumba Sweden. There is a global remote working policy providing possibilities to partly work remotely in agreement with their manager.
