YOUR MISSION

As Team Leader of the LongTail Growth Team your mission is to drive revenue growth by maximizing the impact of ads investments for existing partners. Youll lead a high-performing commercial team focused on helping our long tail partners grow through data-driven ad strategies and impactful account management. Your goal is to ensure sustainable order growth partner retention and sales acceleration in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment.

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead and coach a team of 10 Account Managers to deliver strong commercial performance and hit ads revenue and retention targets. Be responsible for their development path with clear goals and actions to follow. Hire and onboard new AMs ensuring they understand and apply Glovos ways of working.
  • Build and execute commercial plans to prevent partner churn increase ads penetration and maximize revenue.
  • Ensure strong operational excellence by simplifying internal processes and enhancing team productivity.
  • Participate in global meetings and trainings and cascade new processes tools and initiatives to the team.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • You have a solid experience (5 years) in fast-paced environments (startup investment banking top consulting firms or top tech companies).
  • Relevant experience leading cross functional teams with 5 people
  • A data-driven mentality taking decisions based on data and using good business judgment when necessary
  • Youre persuasive in the most pleasant possible way and have no trouble selling anything that brings value to customers/partners and the Glovo platform.
  • Youve got a good judgment and assertiveness and own up to your mistakes facing any situation with an optimistic approach.
  • Youre extremely curious and have a desire to acquire a deep understanding on new topics.
  • You find smart and elegant solutions to complex and multi-disciplinary challenges with a great critical-thinking.
  • Youre extremely agile and thrive in ambiguous environments
  • You are always respectful kind and fair. All of your current and former reports speak highly of you as a manager and leader
  • You have an ambition that makes some people think youre crazy because you are ahead of the edge while inspiring the vast majority.
  • Youre an owner you have a natural bias for action always pushing for things to happen objective and deadline oriented with a hands-on spirit.
  • Excellent English and Spanish.
  • An empathetic inclusive and curious attitude across the business and the industry.
