Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant Program Lead WRB Technology
In this role youll be managing the design and implementation of end-to-end and large scale application changes through maintaining continuous communication with stakeholders IT and business teams to deliver against business needs.
Responsibilities
Monthly Assessing the impact costs benefits and risks of any proposed changes. Coordinating change planning and the implementation process.
Consulting on large scale and complex change management programs across the organization. Integrating change management processes with other service management functions.
Optimizing a phased-release approach to product development and testing; implementing tools for configuration management defect tracking and change control.
Works with development or delivery of a software package or component or delivery of an application.
Defines major development activities checkpoints and deliverables.
Describes phases activities deliverables and processes for a specific methodology.
Ensures the successful completion of all major activities tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis stage.
Works with structured documents for developing features functions plans and schedules.
Identifies considerations for product integration with multiple platforms and systems.
Describes software design practices technologies and considerations.
Identifies common development problems and issues.
Participates in creating technical requirements for software development and deployment.
Supervises the advanced use of requirements analysis tools and services including prototyping and use cases.
Produces detailed functional and information requirements models and documentation.
Explains relevant documentation standards policies and practices.
Supervises the full spectrum of delivery activities on multiple development projects.
Oversees development of best practices documentation for all major activities and tasks.
Research phase and task dependencies and considerations.
Evaluates the relative criticality risk and potential reward of each and all major tasks.
Explains the underlying concept of using a systematic approach to solve technical problems.
Describes problem identification reporting and escalation procedures.
Identifies available resources and support systems for troubleshooting.
Software Quality Assurance
Participates in the software quality assurance process for a specific application.
Assists with the preparation administration and validation of specific software tests.
Reviews test results and quality requirements; documents and organizes results.
Release Management
Participates in moving software from test to production status.
Utilizes available tools and procedures to manage all software configuration items for product release.
Documents key activities and deliverables in a product release and updated processes as necessary.
Analyses reasons why a proposed software release might be rejected.
Coordinates with other functions to ensure release success minimize risks and ensure proper support levels.
Agile Project Management
Identifies basic tools documents and reports used by agile software development function.
Participates in hardware product development projects using agile working process.
Leads discussion in using agile methodology to deliver multiple and complex applications.
Consults on using agile concept for management of high-risk high-impact technology products.
Measures and assesses the effectiveness of agile methodology and deliverables.
Champions use of agile methodology across the enterprise; leads complex improvement initiatives.
Defines and monitors agile project success metrics.
Elaborates on the history evolution and future of agile project management.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Stakeholder management experience working with senior level stakeholders to deliver project and provide status updates.
Proven experience with co-ordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex large-scale deployment environment
Strong project management experience with the ability to work on multiple projects under pressure and tight timelines
Proven skills in coordination staff management and leadership working with vendors and internal teams including Procurement Ops and stakeholders
Rigorous approach to management of project delivery methodology
Leadership skills to coach co-ordinate and grow a successful delivery team
Excellent oral written communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage a diverse and challenging stakeholder community
Strong technologist ability to problem solve think out of the box self-starter ability to work under pressure
Excellent interpersonal skills which lend themselves to team-oriented approach and able to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual
Ability to think clearly and to resolve critical problems in a high-pressure environment
Strong Microsoft Office (MS Excel MS Powerpoint MS Project) skills
Process good influencing skills and problem-solving skills
Solid project organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking ability to track project delivery status dependencies and financials
Able to handle multi-tasks manage time effectively and perform under pressure.
Able to work at flexible hours and travel


Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Bachelor degree from a reputable university
Strong experience in banking field with proven track record in leadership role in Project Management of Information Technology projects.
