We are currently looking for a Enterprise Architect to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
Responsibilities:
- Review draft standards from CEN-CENELEC JTC24 and ensure their alignment with regulatory objectives and the overarching vision of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) initiative.
- Collect and consolidate technical feedback from multiple internal and external stakeholders to build a unified technical position.
- Participate in European and international standardisation events and provide high-level technical summaries identifying key areas of convergence and divergence.
- Draft and maintain technical specifications and design documentation for the development of the DPP ecosystem including the Registry Web Application and its integration with customs-related systems (e.g. CSW-CERTEX).
- Analyse existing IT systems and infrastructure to identify reusable components and reduce redundancy.
- Design and validate architecture overview documents for the DPP IT components.
- Perform code audits to ensure architectural consistency and technical quality.
- Assess software performance identify gaps and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to Project Managers and Business Stakeholders.
Profile:
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF COBIT Zachman).
- Proficiency in architecture notations (ArchiMate BPMN) and tools (e.g. ARIS).
- Strong leadership analytical and communication skills.
- Comfortable in a multicultural multilingual environment.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (C2 level).
- Strong discretion and integrity in handling sensitive/confidential data.
Technical skills:
- 10 years expertise in IT system architecture.
- 10 years experience with relational databases (Oracle MySQL).
- 10 years working with visual modelling tools (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect).
- 10 years in secure web application development.
- 10 years knowledge of object-oriented design patterns.
- 5 years in international/multicultural environments on large-scale projects.
- 5 years of development experience with Java (J2SE and J2EE).
- 5 years in microservices architecture.
- 2 years in blockchain architecture.
- 2 years with Verifiable Credentials technology.
- 2 years in data lake architecture.
- 1 year in European standardisation (e.g. CEN CENELEC).
- 1 year in global standardisation (e.g. ISO IEC W3C).
- Knowledge of eIDAS regulation is a plus.
