Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of routine shipping receiving customer support and housekeeping tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving
- Receive and Unload incoming materials (including Field Returns). Verifies the BOL is accurate to pallet and carton counts. Noting all over short and damages.
- Verifies packing list is accurate to contents and advises lead & supervisor of any discrepancies.
- Receives material against system generated purchase orders & stocks all material within 24 hours of receipt (includes sorting counting packing labeling).
- Distribute non-inventory packages as required
- Other duties as assigned
Shipping
- Prepares and packs material for Customer shipments.
- Responsible for Quality Assurance of shipment contents.
- Responds quickly to urgent customer facing issues.
- Assists in the loading and unloading of trucks
- Support Timely and Accurate fulfillment and shipment of maintenance work orders.
- Prepares shipments for RTV Return to Vendor or RMA
- Other duties as assigned
Inventory Control
- Follows and supports initiatives to improve and ensure inventory accuracy throughout
- Assist with daily cycle inventory counts and reconciliation to validate inventory accuracy.
- Support Production with timely and accurate material requests.
- Responsible for all asset movement and returns/RMA material
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid Drivers License (minimal driving on behalf of company).
- Knowledge of general warehouse shipping and receiving best practices (includes international shipments) inventory management practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Dynamics AX SAP by Design or similar ERP Software
- Ability to meet physical requirements including: variety of standing sitting and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 20lbs and occasional lifting of 30-40lbs occasional climbing of ladders; usage of reach truck and pallet jacks.
