Job Summary: Learning Together Educational Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our multidisciplinary team. The COTA will provide support to children age infant to 3 years old in achieving their educational and developmental goals. This position is initially part-time with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on patient needs and caseload growth. Key Responsibilities:
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OT).
Work one-on-one to enhance fine motor skills sensory integration and daily living activities.
Collaborate with teachers parents and other professionals to address childs needs and support Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to the supervising OT.
Use evidence-based practices and innovative techniques to create engaging and effective therapy sessions.
Adhere to all ethical and professional guidelines set forth by state and national regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in California.
Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
Experience working with children and/or students with diverse abilities (preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working effectively with students families and educators.
