Job Description

As a QA Engineer at CostQuest Associates you will be responsible for the design development and maintenance of automated testing for a wide variety of development products and projects. You will be the guardian of quality for our product development lifecycle meticulously testing and validating that products meet rigorous standards before they reach our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases
  • Perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur
  • Maintain and update test automation frameworks
Conduct performance and scalability testing
  • Work with development team to review specifications and to identify and resolve issues
  • Contribute to project documentation including requirements design specifications and user manuals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers back-end developers and project managers to gather requirements provide technical insights and contribute to the overall design and testing process
  • Adhere to project schedules prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of code quality and attention to detail
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or related field
Required Skills:
  • 3 years of experience in automation software testing
  • Experience with Playwright testing tools
  • Highly knowledgeable in CSS/JavaScript
  • Experience with Python programming
  • Have a working knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL
  • GIS experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and listen and learn from internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfort working in a fast-changing market
  • Solution-oriented communicator with strong problem-solving skills
