Job Description:PwC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented API Integration Tester to join our dynamic team. The API Integration Tester will be responsible for designing developing and executing test plans and test cases for API integrations ensuring the seamless functionality and performance of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of API testing methodologies and hands-on experience with testing tools.
Minimum Degree Required: BE/BTech/MCA/.
Degree Preferred: Bachelors in Computer Engineering
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 year(s) of progressive within software/systems development processes

Desired:
Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of quality assurance procedures.
Maintain and update documentation related to quality standards and procedures.
Provide training and guidance on quality engineering practices and methodologies.
Utilize data analytics to monitor quality metrics and performance indicators.
Create templates reports and presentations for management on quality performance and process improvements.
Evaluate and implement software tools and technologies that support quality engineering processes.
Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in quality assurance.
Lead or participate in projects focused on process improvements or system implementations.

Build a trusted working relationship with respective counterparts within the Client
Cooperate with customers and PwC delivery team to define automated tests scope and approach
Experience with SAP ECC and S4 Hana database Tosca DI testing/validation

Experience with HTML CSS
Working experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
Working experience with Jira
Exposure to Java C# Selenium Appium Webservices/API are preferrable

Key Responsibilities :
Test Planning and Design:
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for API integration testing.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design specifications.
API Testing:
Perform functional integration and regression testing of APIs to ensure they meet business requirements.
Execute test cases manually and using automated testing tools documenting the results and logging defects.
Automation and Tools:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools such as Postman SoapUI or similar.
Continuously enhance test automation coverage and efficiency.
Issue Identification and Resolution:
Identify document and track issues and defects in a clear and concise manner.
Work closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution of identified issues.
Performance and Load Testing:
Conduct performance and load testing of APIs to ensure stability and scalability under expected and peak loads.
Analyze test results and work with development teams to optimize API performance.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a thorough understanding of the integration and testing requirements.
Communicate testing progress results and any issues to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in API testing and integration.
Propose and implement improvements to testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience in API integration testing with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
Proficiency in testing tools such as Postman SoapUI JMeter or similar.
Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Solid understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
