Job Description
Overview: Would you like to relocate to another Island in the Caribbean
Our client is one of the world s leading organizations of independent assurance tax and advisory with a global network of 76000 people in member firms in 156 markets. With a strong presence across the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) consisting of operations in Barbados St Lucia Antigua Dominica St Lucia St Vincent & the Grenadines Grenada and St. Kitts they are rapidly becoming the Go-To Audit firms across the region.
Due to increased demand for their services they are actively seeking to recruit experienced Audit Supervisors/Seniors to operate in their country of choice (Barbados is the top priority/location chosen depending on headcount) and join their exciting journey.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Planning executing and completing audits.
Auditing the financial statements of a portfolio of clients.
Developing and supervising staff.
Reviewing financial statements and related technical accounting issues.
Assisting in engagement management and practice development activities.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in accounting or a related field.
Commitment to pursue a professional accounting qualification.
Minimum of three years of previous audit experience.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a growing fast-paced interactive results-based team environment.
Solid verbal written and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to take ownership of your assignments and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with IFRS.
Possession of an accounting qualification such as ACCA or CPA is required for the supervisor position.
