Position Overview
As a Behavior Technician you will deliver one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental differences. Your support will empower children to gain independence master key life skills and adopt positive behaviors through consistent structured intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children during daily routines structured activities and community engagement
- Encourage independence and teach critical life skills during individualized sessions
- Implement behavior plans created by a supervising BCBA and provide ongoing feedback
- Accurately document behavioral data session notes and progress
- Maintain regular communication and participate in training and supervision sessions with your BCBA
- Uphold confidentiality and client safety in alignment with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with light household tasks or transportation when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish (required)
- Background in working with children or individuals with disabilities (preferred)
- Valid driver s license proof of insurance and dependable vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs stay physically active (standing kneeling sitting on the floor) and respond swiftly to client movement
- Open to traveling within a 30-minute radius to client homes
- Willingness to obtain RBT certification within 90 days (training provided)
- Ability to pass a background check
