Job Description

FLSA: NON-EXEMPT

QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years experience in materials and supply inventory. Shall secure as necessary
appropriate drivers license to operate vehicles and trailers as is necessary in the
retrieval and delivery of materials and supplies. Must be proficient in operating a
forklift.

REPORTS TO: Logistics Manager

JOB GOAL: To assist the Logistics Manager in operation of the warehouse common grounds
maintenance moves and setups and retrieval and disposition of surplus materials and
supplies.

SUPERVISES: Laborers and helpers assigned by the Logistics Manager

TERM: Twelve (12) Months

SALARY: Non-Certified Salary Schedule SB-110

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform work as directed by supervisor.
2. Be diligent in performing work in safe manner.
3. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
4. Maintain written records as required and directed.
5. Be responsible and use good judgments in the purchase of job materials.
6. Operate any vehicles in a safe manner and follow policies as directed.
7. Perform work in a professional and timely manner.
8. Follow policies outlined in the Rapides Parish School Board Accountability Program.
9. Perform any other duties assigned by the Logistics Manager Physical Plant Supervisor or other administrators up the Chain of Command.
10. Sign in and out at each school and cooperate with all building personnel.
