Job Description
To provide general accounting services which includes but not limited to preparing journal entries preparing and analyzing account reconciliations preparing invoices to vendors approving and reviewing expense reports administering corporate expense reporting tool meeting with departments to review spending and supporting the Accounting Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Prepare Invoices to Customers/Vendors for Marketing on a weekly basis
- Work with the Marketing department to ensure all jobs are properly billed and reconciled
- Reconcile Marketing General Ledger Accounts Monthly
- Prepare journal entries to properly record transactions and post entries into the general ledger system
- Administer the Expense Reporting System Emburse by maintaining all users and accounts
- Approve Review and Upload Expense Reports in Expense Reporting System Emburse
- Prepare and Distribute the Travel Meals and Entertainment Budget Monthly
- Review and Complete Account Reconciliations of accounts as assigned
- Complete Budget Reviews of accounts as assigned
- Assist in Preparation of Financial Statements and complete Financial Analysis as needed
- Support the Accounting Manager in meeting month-end reporting deadlines
- Participate in various accounting projects including coordination and fulfillment of audit requests
- Assist in other areas as needed
Job Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field required
- 3-5 years of experience required
- Proven computer skills including accounting software (Oracle) Excel and Word
- Proven verbal and written communications skills
- Confirmed team player with good superior and peer relationship skills
- Successful record of effective customer relations skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards work and demonstrated belief in continuous improvement
