The Senior Network Architect role is responsible for leading design and implementation of critical networked business systems. This role reports to the Guild Director to ensure that technical compliance regulatory resiliency and financial objectives are met through the design and operation of the resulting system. The network architect is responsible for system definition and project planning in pursuit of achieving the program outcome.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

across engineering teams to lead design efforts that incorporate resiliency cost management compliance considerations.
with other IT teams to support the changes to implement and enable the necessary solutions including security logging monitoring.
network design sessions with networking guild engineers to create architectural design and test plans.
and provide implementation plans including resource needs and timelines.
architectural design patterns for peer review and education.
engineering team design of integration and production tests to ensure high quality implementations.
ability to create project plans test plans and engineering implementation plans.
project status dependencies and requirements to management.
current on changes in the networking technology space including L1 transports software defined networking configuration and deployment technologies including virtual machines and containers.
debug and problem resolution support as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

degree or equivalent education or related training
least ten years of network design experience
BSEE BSCE
skills problem solving ability to communicate complex ideas and present to peers
and demonstrated understanding of technologies and management interfaces of a software defined network technology such as ACI NSX or cloud networking
and demonstrated understanding of internet naming technologies such as DNS DHCP ipv6 ipv4.
and demonstrated understanding of routing protocols such as BGP IS-IS OSPF
with networking concepts such as routing security OSI model and protocols definitions.
track record of technical designs and implementation
Preferred Qualifications:
1.A general understanding of Software Defined Networking
knowledge with Devops technologies and a proven track record of continuous integration techniques and implementations
knowledge of collaboration tools such as slack webex microsoft teams visio
knowledge of Microsoft office productivity suite
to self manage time.
industry familiarity of at least one of the following: Bank Services Mortgage Insurance Commercial Lending & Banking Investment Services Asset Management Equipment Finance Venture Capital and Financial Industry Governing Bodies.
