Job Description

To maintain distribution of products and component parts according to the needs of the department by delivering materials and supplies to and from warehouse inventory locations. 


Qualifications :

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:      

  • High School Degree

Experience:    

  • Two years of forklift and warehouse environment experience preferred
  • Preferred bilingual Spanish/English
  • Some computer experience

Skills/Abilities:           

  • Effectively communicate (written/verbal) with personnel from all departments.
  • Must pass material handler competency tests.
  • Must pass Peerless Forklift Training Program.
  • Must be able to work overtime without notice.
  • Must be able to read basic Engineering prints to identify parts for transactions.

Pay: 

  • $18/hour

Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday
  • 5:00 am - 3:30 pm

ESSENTIAL RESULTS:

  • Transfer material from fabrication and into ARA OR AWA locations.
  • Maintain inventory by correctly identifying labeling and placing materials and supplies in stock. Inventory Identification Tags must be maintained during all transactions.
  • Pulls materials and supplies for work orders move tickets material reqs. delivers them to appropriate workstations or other locations. 
  • Supports other departments by executing inventory adjustments and physical deliveries.
  • Oversee and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment by following manufacturers standards of use and reports damage or mechanical problems to the Maintenance department.  Maintains and verifies that all forklift checklists are properly filled out.
  • Maintains/Promotes safe organized and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort with all departments by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Performs regular random audits on MH physical and systematical transactions.
  • Verifies inventory is properly marked and stocked in correct locations.
  • Handles issues with inventory discrepancies
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to work overtime including weekends as needed.
  • Must be physically capable of standing/bending/stooping/squeezing 8 hour shift(s)
  • Must be able to lift carry and/or move up to 30 lbs. without assistance. Anything above 30 lbs. requires a team lift.
  • Must have the ability to push pull material and equipment as needed.
  • Must be able to wear required safety equipment including glasses gloves and harnesses.
