Position requires being on-site full-time at our corporate headquarters in Cumberland Rhode Island
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Hart Design Group

Position Summary
The successful candidate will focus on modernization projects of clients facilities and/or the construction of new facilities to support their research or manufacturing efforts. Responsibilities will include preparing reports for clients (code review costs feasibility etc.) and designing new processes or facilities including creating construction drawings.
DELIVERABLES:
  • Preparation of detailed reports including code reviews and feasibility studies.
  • Design and documentation of electrical systems for modernization and new construction projects.
  • Creation of construction drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Coordination with project teams to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute electrical circuit operations and designs including power supply circuit designs.
  • Utilize knowledge of analog and digital design basics in project assignments.
  • Conduct ARC Flash Analysis and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry codes and standards relevant to electrical engineering.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Possess Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit for design purposes.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuit operations and basic analog/digital design principles.
  • Familiarity with power supply circuit designs and schematic tools.
  • Understanding of applicable codes and standards in the electrical engineering field.
  • Knowledge of ARC Flash Analysis and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for client and team interactions.
