At the heart of the New South Wales (NSW) planning system the Planning Group takes centre stage. Driven by the NSW Governments unwavering commitment to tackle the critical housing issue we provide essential support and strategic guidance. The Planning Land Use Strategy Housing and Infrastructure (PLUSHI) team are the driving force behind the Departments strategic planning policy rezoning and infrastructure projects all aimed at making New South Wales a better place to live.

The role

The Senior Infrastructure Analyst supports the Program Manager in designing and delivering a portfolio of grant programs related to the delivery of infrastructure to support housing supply in New South Wales.

About you

You will advocate preferred actions to achieve overall grant program objectives particularly regarding the prioritisation and funding of state infrastructure by communicating and negotiating with state agencies councils and other internal and external stakeholders.

You will assist with the preparation of high-quality reports advice and recommendations on the economic aspects of projects related to grant programs and in particular the State Voluntary Planning Agreement grant program. Use your knowledge of the SmartyGrants platform to prepare nomination forms and assessment forms as well as management of applications for infrastructure grant programs.

You will provide input into the preparation and management of project budgets including the procurement and oversight of consultants.
