Mid size Exterior Construction Company servicing Nassau/Suffolk/Brooklyn counties seeks a construction project manager with experience in all facets of Exterior Residential construction with the ability to manage a project from estimating to completion. Candidate must have experience in project estimating preparation of subcontracts project scheduling and subcontractor coordination and management. Candidate must be computer literate and have experience with Microsoft Word. Our ideal candidate must have the ability to present him or herself well to clients and all members of project team. Candidate must have strong written verbal and communication skills and the ability to use these skills in dealing with owners architects and subcontractors and in-house employees. Ideal candidate must have experience with contracts change order procedures and capable of working within budget and on schedule. Candidate must have the ability and experience to effectively manage 3-5 projects simultaneously across Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
The Project Managers Responsibilities include:
Manages In-House Team AND sub crews
Evaluates project financial success at end of job by doing a P & L for each job with office during weekly meetings
Selling additional work once job has started by seeing opportunities
Collecting Payments from customers
Quality Control by doing inspections at various stages
Enhances organizational reputation by accepting ownership for how job is going
Job scheduling for In-House Teams and Sub Crews
Precisely ordering job materials with assistance of production team
Change order documentation
Problem resolution
Daily job communication and customer satisfaction
Requirements to be Considered:
Work hours from 6:30am to 4:30pm Mon-Sat (sometimes needing to work early or later)
Have Valid Drivers License and pass Drug Test
Have a background in carpentry and general construction
Be versatile in project management duties in all phases of residential construction
Excellent attention to detail
Have a whatever it takes attitude and bring positivity to job every single day!

Compensation:
Salary starts at 1 month probation $1500K per week than goes to $90K for first year.
Salary second year should be $100K - $115
