About the Role
Manages the delivery of nursing services and safe patient care within assigned department and across the continuum of care. Manages the delivery of services that add value and are integrated with nursing standards of practice service priorities and performance/outcome measures as well as with strategic business and organizational goals/objectives.
This position will manage the main Operating Room Department. It is a 19 OR suite with approximately 150 direct reports they average 1500 cases/month. This hospital is one of the largest in Southern California it has 550 licensed beds and has Magnet designation.
Experience:
- CA RN license.
- American Heart Association BLS.
- BSN or MSN.
- At minimum candidate needs to have 5 years of FT equivalent operating room RN experience in an acute care setting. Experience must be current or very recent. Not accepting surgery center experience or cath lab experience.
- At minimum candidate needs to have 3 years of FT equivalent RN Manager or Supervisor experience. Charge Nurse experience doesnt meet this requirement (many times referred to as Clinical Coordinator experience). Experience must be current or very recent.
