TITLE: Drama Club Assistant Advisor (BHS)
FUNCTION: To assist with the responsibility for producing directing and supervising variousactivities such as rehearsals performances competitions and meetings and isdirectly responsible to the building principal.
DUTIES:
students in selecting casting and directing one-act intra-school play competition.
and direct annual childrens Christmas play for elementary school entertainment.
and direct annual cabaret night.
direct and enter one-act plays for Boston Globe Drama Festival competition.
and direct annual spring production.
necessary budgetary duties.
and maintain standards of pupil behavior and provide an orderly and productive environment for all drama related
activities.
responsibility for the facility or area in which assigned activities are conducted at all times that students are present.
responsibility for related duties that may be assigned by the building principal.
to the adopted policies of the Bellingham School Committee.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Preferably a member of the High School teaching staff.
2. Experience in producing and directing activities relating to drama.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Dedication to the service of youth.
2. Demonstrated ability to relate favorably with students.
