Are you an organized and dependable professional seeking to work with a team to create the best dining experience for guests We would love to have you join our amazing culinary team here at theEast PeoriaEmbassy Suites as a Line Cook!
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the kitchen areas are properly stocked and sanitized;
Develop your knowledge and skills in the most effective food prep stocking and cleaning methods;
Carefully followsafety standards maintain awareness of safety hazards (i.e. broken glass frayed electrical cords leaks broken locks and suspicious persons) and properly report as found;
Utilize and suggest the most efficient and effective culinary practices to ensure that guests have the best dining experience every time;
Work as a team to accomplish the goal of providing exceptional dining experiences for all guests;
Complete any and allother work as required.
What are we looking for
Prior customer service and culinary experience
Currently have a Food Safety certificate or can complete training during initial60 days
Ability to complete the following tasks:
Lift pull and push up to 50lbs occasionally and 15lbs regularly
Bend and squat repeatedly
Walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
Flexible to working days early mornings eveningsnightsweekendsand holidays
