In our Acceleration into Financial Professional Program youll join the next generation of accounting professionals at Vanguard to help strengthen our companys future. Take a deep dive into the roles of corporate accounting at a company thats changing the way people invest-and make it count!

In this full-time rotational program you will:

• Immerse yourself in four 6-month assignments in key accounting functions of one of the worlds leading investment management companies through rotations in functions such as Corporate Accounting Operations Financial Reporting Internal Audit SOX Accounting Policy Treasury Tax and Fund Accounting.

• Earn your CPA with dedicated study hours and full sponsorship for Becker study materials and exam fees. Leverage our partnership with Penn State Great Valley to complete the 150-credit hour requirement for the CPA license.

• Meet regularly with your department rotation manager AFP program manager and others to receive personalized coaching and mentorship.

• Complete thorough training and development experiences to equip you with a mix of technical leadership and soft-skills. Use these skills to deliver strategic insights during your tenure in the program.

• Cultivate new relationships in a fast-growing network of dedicated professionals working to do whats right for the investor.

• Have the opportunity to collaborate with peers and support a departmental project or strategic Accounting functions.

Upon successful completion of the program you will sit for the CPA and transition into a full-time role within the Accounting group including an accounting associate specialist chief of staff and more.

What it takes

• Passion for Accounting as an enabling function in an organization.

• An undergraduate degree. Accounting majors intending to pursue the CPA required.

• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.

• Ability to work well independently and as a part of a high-performing team.

• Professional presence and demeanor working with colleagues and management.

• Adaptability the ability to learn quickly and take initiative.

• Effective communication analytical leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Results oriented with the ability to lead several priorities.
