Overview

Compensation ranges from $30 to $35 per hour depending on experience.
Qualifications
- 5 years of CNC machining experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming multi-axis CNC mills/lathes and fixturing methods.
- Experience machining steel castings is a plus.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam Fusion 360 or similar.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and shop floor documentation practices.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the CNC department including machinists and operators.
- Plan prioritize and schedule jobs to meet production and customer delivery targets.
- Ensure all machined parts meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee machine maintenance and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on fixture design tool selection and continuous process improvements.
- Develop and implement machining processes for new parts.
- Drive a culture of accountability safety and lean manufacturing.
- Train and mentor staff to ensure skill development and consistent performance.
- Track department KPIs downtime and performance metrics.
- Manage tooling inventory supplier relations and cost control.
