Product Training Manager Hard Surface
The Product Training Manager is responsible for developing and delivering engaging training materials videos and resources to educate sales teams and customers on product features benefits and best practices. This role focuses on driving product adoption improving customer understanding and supporting revenue growth by creating high-quality learning content. The Product Trainer works closely with sales marketing and product teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness in training initiatives.
Essential Duties:
Training Content Development:
Work with Content Development Manager to design and develop training materials including presentations manuals guides and e-learning modules.
Create engaging video content for product education demos and sales enablement.
Ensure training materials are updated to reflect product updates competitive insights and industry trends.
Sales and Customer Training:
Define learning objectives and curriculum needs in collaboration with the content team to ensure high-quality actionable training materials.
Conduct training sessions webinars and workshops for sales teams and customers.
Customize training programs to address different audience needs from beginner to advanced users.
Partner with sales teams to develop training that enhances product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
Engagement Measurement and Optimization:
Track training participation and measure engagement through surveys analytics and feedback.
Use data-driven insights to refine training programs and improve knowledge retention.
Report on training effectiveness and its impact on sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Video Production and Digital Learning:
Work with Content Team to develop high-quality product training videos tutorials and microlearning content.
Utilize video editing tools and learning management systems (LMS) to create and distribute training resources.
Ensure videos and digital content align with brand guidelines and storytelling best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
Track training participation and measure engagement through surveys analytics and feedback.
Use data-driven insights to refine training programs and improve knowledge retention.
Report on training effectiveness and its impact on sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in marketing communications education or a related field.
3 years of experience in product training instructional design or sales enablement.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies in the sales training space and integrate them into the training program for increased engagement and effectiveness.
Strong ability to translate complex product information into engaging easy-to-understand content.
Experience with video production editing tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere Camtasia or similar) and LMS platforms.
Excellent communication presentation and storytelling skills.
Knowledge of sales processes and how training impacts revenue growth.
Strong analytical skills to measure training effectiveness and engagement.
