As we continue to grow we are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations and drive our business forward.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the companys logistics delivery and installation operations. This role involves strategic planning team leadership operational efficiency and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management with a focus on final mile delivery and a proven track record of leading teams to success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
(A) STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP: - Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. - Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operations and make data-driven decisions. - Collaborate with senior management to establish long-term goals and growth strategies.
(B) OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT: - Oversee daily operations including scheduling routes warehouse operations and GEA processes. - Ensure timely and accurate delivery and installation of household appliances. - Optimize routes and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - Manage relationships with suppliers vendors and subcontractors to ensure service quality.
(C) TEAM LEADERSHIP: - Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team of operations managers drivers and installers. - Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
(D) CUSTOMER SERVICE: - Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving issues promptly and effectively. - Implement and monitor customer feedback to improve service quality. - Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
(E) FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: - Develop and manage the budget for operations including expenses related to personnel equipment and supplies
(F) COMPLIANCE AND SAFETY: - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including OSHA safety standards DOT regulations and industry best practices. - Implement and maintain safety protocols to protect employees and customers. - Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. - Proven experience in logistics supply chain management or a related field with a focus on household appliances preferred. - Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. - Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Willing to relocate.
