To be successful in this position you should have a solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) basic Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statements a firm understanding of the essential parts of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards and the knowledge of the preparation of the annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR).

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in accounting along with3-5 years of related experience. Experience in governmental accounting preferred.

STATUS AND HOURS: Full-time Monday Friday (based on a 40 hours per week) benefit eligible. There might be a variation in work hours and days to support the department and County needs. This position is not eligible for remote work opportunities.
