Job Summary
The Sand-Casting Mold Design Engineer will be responsible for developing rigging and gating concepts as well as set-up and simulation of these concepts. Mold designs created will take advantage of the design flexibility offered by 3D mold printing technology. This position will aid in initiating the research and development efforts necessary to correlation of casting simulation results to casting quality.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

- Required R&D efforts
- Create casting mold designs
- Perform Magmasoft solidification modeling
- Construct 3D animations of mold assembly
- Create bill-of-materials for mold assemblies
- Assist in documenting department procedures for responsibilities listed above
- To work collaboratively on Team / Organizational goals.
- To enhance quality parameters which will make path for First Time Right culture
- Utilize data analysis intelligent automation and business intelligence tools to enhance enterprise efficiency.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Technology CIPET NTTF CITD or similar degree
- Computer Aided Design experience (SolidWorks Creo) preferred
- Solidification Modeling Software experience (Magmasoft) preferred
- Sand lab testing experience preferred
- 3 Years of Prior experience on Castings Mold Design Foundry and Casting Simulation
- Good Communication skills - Verbal as well as Written
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Data Analytics / CAD Customization / Automation Skills will be a plus
