Monocle is seeking a sales associate based in the merchandise corner of our recently refurbished London caf.

About the role
Our newly refurbished caf in Marylebone now boasts a merchandise corner showcasing a sample of our retail offering. We are seeking a passionate sales assistant who is excited to be part of our caf team has a passion for retail and a connection to our brand and products.
We pride ourselves on producing and showcasing beautifully crafted objects and our shop stocks a mix of exclusive Monocle magazines and books own label products collaborations with brands we admire and a collection of products from our favourite companies and craftspeople around the world.
Essential to your success will be your eye for detail a creative mindset and a passion for delivering excellent service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and serving our international customers providing an experience that aligns to our brand
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our products collaborations and suppliers including the provenance of items in order to help customers make purchase decisions
- Merchandising and stocking the shop
- Working across a seven-day roster
- Accurately processing orders and payments
- Confidence to communicate in English
