Responsibilities:

  • Visually and physically check all products to conform to product quality specifications and document where appropriate
  • During inspection detect any product defects which occur on a consecutive basis to be reported to Line Supervision.
  • Work across all production departments as required
  • Operate processing equipment where necessary
  • Collect and supply product samples for quality assurance where necessary
  • Carry out any cleaning procedures and maintain housekeeping standards
  • Maintain GMP standards in all aspects of the role
  • Support the development of Lean Manufacturing within the department. Make suggestions for continuous improvement and participate in implementing agreed changes
  • To ensure compliance with all Company rules and regulations and also maintain a high standard of housekeeping
  • Adhere to and conforms with the required technical and quality specifications in line with the Companys ISO 9000 quality systems
  • Support the development of 5S activities to maintain the highest levels of hygiene and housekeeping.
  • Follow with Company Policy on Health and Safety. Report all near miss or hazardous situations to your line manager as they occur or raise if necessary.
  • Take an interest in personal development and follow with the learning and competency frameworks relevant to the role

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn understand and carry out instructions
  • Be able to use initiative to propose ideas for change
  • Good numeric and literacy skills
  • Previous experience in similar environment
