Greater Sudbury Utilities Group of Companies: Greater Sudbury Hydro Agilis Networks @home Energy and ConverGen is in search of a visionary and strategic President and CEO. Reporting to the Board of Directors the CEO leads and directs the Executive Committee and with their support is responsible for the overall leadership vision strategic direction and management of all aspects of the company including safety financial performance and operational objectives to the benefit of the Shareholder customers and staff. With demonstrated success leading an organization in a regulated environment the candidate must have the ability to establish corporate goals that align with the companys strategic direction championing our values driving long term success and ensuring exceptional service delivery across all companies.
Qualified candidates will possess strong leadership skills high ethical standards and strategic decision-making abilities. Relevant industry experience will be an asset; however individuals from energy telecommunications or other regulated industries will be attractive candidates.
The ideal candidate will bring an expert knowledge of the electricity and utility sector and experience implementing strategy and leading change. With a proven record as an experienced senior executive the ideal candidate is strategic forward-thinking and motivated by working with and empowering a team. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of building strong ties with the community and will effectively engage and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to support operations and foster innovation in regulated and competitive markets. The successful candidate will be aligned with GSUs values and from a personal values perspective to deliver safe reliable electricity and related services to thousands of customers while working with a committed Board and community-focused team.
