Job Description

Myers-Seth Pumps is a rapidly expanding company that is currently seeking an Assembly Mechanic person for its pump manufacturing facility in Jacksonville FL. The right candidate for the position will be trained in all phases of OEM equipment assembly of diaphragm and centrifugal diesel power trailer pumps and other styles and types of pumping equipment. Also the person will be responsible for performing servicing and repair of diesel-powered pumps and pumping equipment.

Job Required:

- 1 to 3 years experience in all phases of mechanical assembly maintenance servicing and repair of equipment. Only experienced candidates need to reply for this position

- Have a valid Florida drivers license.

- Must be able to follow instructions.

- Must be able to work alone with little or no supervision.

- Must be able to read instruction manuals and drawings.

- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background checks

- Has the ability for advancement within the company.

Skill Requirements:

- Ability to work with multiple employees and clients in a fast-paced environment.

- Adaptable to change.

- Attention to detail.

- Must be a self-starter.

- Willing to learn new job skills.

- Ability to meet deadlines.

- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Team-oriented.

- Ability to work with those at all levels of the organization.

Education Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED

- Military Schools (Maintenance)

Local applicants are preferred.

Work Hours: Mon. through Thurs. 7:00 am to 4:45 pm Fri. 7:00 am to 11:00 am

Myers-Seth is willing to train the right candidate.
