What does a successful Business Analysis Professional II do at Fiserv

You will join our Card Issuing Platform teams leading technical requirement gathering for client implementation projects supporting processing systems applications. You will provide system and application support for a multi-architecture environment including mainframe and end-to-end application delivery ensuring seamless integration and efficiency. This is a customer-focused role emphasizing the analysis of business requirements creation of functional technical designs and code development using CICS Assembler and COBOL in DB2 database environments.

What you will do:

• Analyze business requirements create functional technical designs and develop code.
• Gather requirements for client project architecture design and system implementations.
• Consult with internal project teams on business specifications for product and service design.
• Conduct planning analysis and forecasting activities for project and task planning.
• Register supervise and resolve critical issues while identifying opportunities for automation and simplification.
• Collaborate with new clients internal partners and developers on design strategies for project implementations.
• Ensure adherence to established standards and consult with senior leaders on technology solutions.
• Deliver on requests quickly drive collaboration across multiple workstreams and gather information from various sources.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelors degree in a related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst; experience in technical analysis for merchant or credit system integration projects is preferred.
• 3 years of experience with MS Excel MS Word MS PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Current Fiserv systems experience.

What would be great to have:

• Exposure to common merchant acquirer and credit card issuing information security concepts and practices.
• Functional and technical knowledge of payment authorization fraud detection systems and smart routing applications.
• Exposure to COBOL JCL DB2 CA7 and VSAM.
