Job Description

Essential Functions
Clean All Aspects of the Assigned Area Clean and disinfect sinks showers toilets and trash receptacles and mop restroom floors. Clean and fill toilet paper and paper towel dispensers. Clean mirrors handrails floors glass doors windows window ledges file cabinets blinds shelves tables chairs dry-erase boards ceilings diffusers and air ducts. Vacuum and empty trash cans and replace liners. Secure Area Make sure all doors are locked and lights turned off before leaving the area. Safety and Security Understand the dangers and safety precautions in the use of chemicals. Put out wet floor signs when appropriate and remove them when floors are dry. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students faculty members and college employees feel welcomed valued and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Support the Colleges policies and programming related to access fair employment and equal opportunities for all.

Minimum Qualifications
High School graduate or GED . One (1) year of successful experience in the custodial area. Able to work with cleaning chemicals.
