Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Rail Vehicle Engineerwho thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of engineering tasks as electrical mechanical and functional on-board integration. The position is based in Italy with frequent international travels

Accountabilities
- Ensure the assessment of the Rolling Stocks Design in order toachieve full integration with other sub-systems and components.
- With regards to Rolling Stocks contribute to the functionalrequirements fulfilment in Design and Testing phase and to theresolution of the interfaces among Rolling Stock and the othersub-systems
- Technical management review and approval of suppliers deliverables
- Preparation of deliverables related to on board integration foreseen by the contract
- Participate to on-site tests relevant to the vehicle Integration identify addressing and solving issues
Desired skills and knowledge
- Electrical installation wiring schematics
- Mechanical installation
- Functional HW and SW integration
- On site HW and SW troubleshooting
- Rolling Stock Signalling and Supervision
- Electrical & Mechanical Design
- Commissioning
- Systems Engineering
Education/Qualifications
Engineering Bachelor.
Languages
Fluent English.
