Job Title: Adult Social Worker - Cornwall
Location: New County Hall TR1 3AY or Carolyn House work base. The team often works from an informal base in Newquay.
Pay Rate: 32
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an Adult Social Worker to join a team based in Cornwall.
Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Cornwall. The role involves working collaboratively with colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams across agencies to support vulnerable adults. Flexibility is essential as the position requires being based in or traveling to the Watergate PCN area as is a full-time role 37 hours per week. Condensed working hours can be considered.
What will your responsibilities be
- Collaborate with team members and multi-disciplinary teams to support vulnerable adults.
- Ensure the views and wishes of individuals and carers are central to all decision-making processes.
- Complete Mental Capacity Assessments (MCA) and Best Interest decision-making.
- Act to protect adults in need of support services in line with legal requirements.
- Conduct safeguarding enquiries and self-neglect interventions.
- Promote independence prevention re-abolement and self-determination.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration be eligible to work in the UK hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level and have post-qualified experience.
