Job Description

Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Lift Truck Operator (Hospitality)

Summary: The Lift Truck Operator (LTO) will ensure safe and accurate receipt storage and shipment of our products utilizing equipment including but not limited to sit down and stand up forklifts pole pallet jacks and radio frequency equipment

Your skills we value:

  • Lead all components of safety health and environmental programs to achieve and maintain zero incidents and injuries.

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to work in a close team environment not only with his/her department but also with any other department.

  • Comply with all safety policies practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources.

  • Promptly report all safety malfunctions on equipment

  • Comply with OSHA standards

  • Move product to storage areas with proper equipment

  • Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner

  • Efficiently stack and safely store the merchandise in the designated area

  • This position will require flexible working hours including overtime and help cover shifts during vacation and call-offs.

  • Drive and perform lift truck safety inspection checklist daily.

  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience preferred in any type of lift truck operation.
